I've fully embraced my nerdy side, which has led me to create Blue Sage Bookkeeping. I offer personalized service that is reliable, honest, and grounded in real-world business experience. I truly care about the success of my clients and consistently go above and beyond to provide support that feels both strategic and personal.

Before starting Blue Sage, my husband and I ran a canyoneering guide service together for ten years. As small business owners, we wore all the hats, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to juggle everything at once, let alone ask for help. That’s why I strive to be more than just a bookkeeper—I’m a trusted partner who helps take financial tasks off your plate and gives you back the mental space to focus on what you do best.

One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing the a-ha moments—when a client finally understands what their numbers are telling them and how they can use that information to make confident, forward-thinking decisions. I believe bookkeeping should be empowering, not intimidating, and I’m here to make that a reality for every client I serve.

Why Work With Me?
I bring a unique and personal perspective to bookkeeping. My husband and I ran our own guide service for 10 years, and as we grew, managing our books quickly became my favorite task. I’ve seen firsthand how important it is for a business to treat its books with care and attention to detail, but I also understand how many people mistakenly put this task on the back burner.
As someone who has had to endure the challenges (and joys) of running a small business, I understand the unique needs of solopreneurs.
I love solving problems, and bookkeeping comes naturally to me. I’ve honed my skills by enrolling in special training programs and working with mentors that have helped me understand ways that I can add value to my services. Now, I’m excited to help business owners take a huge load of stress off their shoulders so they can spend more time doing what they do best—running their business.
I’m open and excited to serve clients from all sorts of industries, but I especially look forward to working with small and medium-sized businesses. I have a background in the service industry, specifically tour operations, so if your business falls around that realm, we just might be a perfect match.
